Customer Centers are open normal business hours. The lobbies will continue to have a 5-customer-at-a-time limit and per the Jackson Madison County Public Health Mandate, face coverings will be required to enter. Self-service kiosks are available 24/7 at both locations.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we understand that some of our customers are now facing challenging financial circumstances. If you are having difficulty paying your JEA utility bill by its due date, we want to help you make payment arrangements and refer you for any available assistance. Please click here for the Contact Us page and select "Payment Arrangements" topic in the "What is Your Question About" area.
There will come a time when it’s necessary for a Jackson Energy Authority employee to enter your home or business property to perform utility service work or maintenance. It is important to remember that Jackson Energy Authority employees, as well as Authorized Contractors, do not ask to enter a customer’s home unless initiated by the customer. All employees carry identification badges with them at all times. For your safety and protection, always ask to see proper identification.
Do not allow anyone claiming to be a Jackson Energy Authority employee or an authorized contractor into your home unless you scheduled an appointment and the employee provides proper identification. If you are unsure of the employee, the badge or that the employee has been sent to your address, contact Jackson Energy Authority at 731-422-7500.
