Customer Centers are open normal business hours. The lobbies will continue to have a 5-customer-at-a-time limit and per the Jackson Madison County Public Health Mandate, face coverings will be required to enter. Self-service kiosks are available 24/7 at both locations.

Customers who prefer to communicate with Jackson Energy Authority via text can utilize the convenient 2-way texting option, JEA Text Alerts. This option allows customers to send specific texts to and receive specific texts from Jackson Energy Authority. Those enrolled in JEA Text Alerts can text to get a bill balance and due date, set a payment extension, receive electric outage notifications, and report an electric outage.
To be eligible to enroll in JEA Text Alerts, a current cell phone number attached to a JEA account is required. To enroll, customers text “Join” to 53248 (JEA4U). Once enrolled, the following keyword commands can be used for communication:
